Content and Social Media Assistant
Do you have great English writing skills and you’re looking for a career in content and social media marketing? You love to learn and you’re eager to try something new?
We are a fast-growing Romanian – American advertising agency, specialized in direct marketing. Since our inception our young team has generated millions of dollars in sales, and over one hundred thousand customers worldwide.
And we’re looking for a smart, hard-working, self-motivated CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT to add to our team.
Your job will be to work directly with the Content Manager, and to assist him with various tasks, including:
– Helping with the development and implementation of the content & social media strategy (WordPress, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram)
– content curation of articles, videos and infographics that connect to your audience’s needs
– content & social media research for our content projects
Here’s how the ideal candidate looks like:
- You have excellent command of the written and spoken English (preferably US English). Your grammar is awesome and you have a good vocabulary.
- You know how to blend writing skills and creativity into a good piece of content.
- You have great research skills, and can find the needle in the online haystack, if you need to. That means, you have a natural ability to find hidden, surprising facts online (using Google and other tools).
- You have an infectious passion for social media, and Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter or Youtube are you second family.
- You are naturally attracted to marketing, persuasion, motivation. We’re looking for a “perpetual student” who is self-motivated to grow beyond the basic job requirements. That means you’re constantly reading books and blogs on these topics, and you’re using every opportunity to get better.
- You have some experience in publishing (media, websites, blogs etc) . If so, we will give you better odds of getting hired.
- You have some experience in social media (Facebook page, Instagram Business, Twitter etc). This will be a definite plus, and will give you a lot of points
Not required (but good to have):
- Some copywriting experience (ideally in direct response marketing, either in sales or non-profit) would be a great addition to your skills.
- Passion for “survival” and “self-sufficiency” topics (“Doomsday Preppers”, “Man vs. Wild”, hunting, etc). This can be a HUGE advantage.
